
Tuaran: The police confirmed the arrest of a 29-year-old local after he allegedly sexually harassed three women in Tuaran township, recently.
Tuaran District Police Chief, Deputy Supt Noraindin Ag Maidin, said the suspect was found to be mentally disabled and is a registered patient at the Mesra Hospital at Bukit Padang, Kota Kinabalu.
The suspect tested positive for drugs.
“On June 24, the police received a report from three female victims aged 15 to 31, claiming that they were molested by the suspect in separate locations.”

According to him, the suspect who resides in Tuaran, was released recently from the hospital three days ago and is scheduled to undergo follow-up treatment weekly.
The suspect was later sent to the mental hospital.
