Moment car is dragged into raging flood waters as bridge collapses in China

New footage captures the moment a car plunged into a torrent of water after a bridge collapsed in flood-hit China.

Eyewitness video shows the vehicle tumbling into the river in Xiongan, China on Monday (25 May) before it gets dragged away by the fast-moving flood water.

Local media reported that the white SUV had broken down and was unable to reverse. The occupant had already exited the vehicle and no injuries were reported.

As of May 26, the vehicle has not been recovered.
