This is the moment Coldplay’s Chris Martin falls backward through a trap door while performing in Melbourne.
The singer was addressing the crowd live on stage as he fell into the large hole in the runway on Sunday (3 November).
In the video, filmed by Gregg Briggs, gasps can be heard as a crew member manages to break the singer’s fall and helps him back up.
“That’s not planned, thank you for catching me, so much. Thank you guys,” Martin said.
“Holy s***, that was nearly a YouTube moment,” he added.
