Home surveillance footage shows the moment a truck with two children inside crashes into the back of a school bus in New York.
Video shows a student leaving his home and walking towards the bus as the driver of the truck, who was looking at his phone, rear-ended the school bus on 7 May.
The teenager jumped back in shock before his father rushed onto the porch to give him a hug.
Jeremiah Rutkowski, 17, said that the incident left him “paralyzed” with shock, whilst his father, Matt, ran inside to call 911, WKTV reports.
Four children and two adults were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, whilst the driver, Joshua Smith, 35, received medical care for minor injuries and was issued several traffic tickets.
