This is the moment the first Hantavirus-hit cruise ship passengers disembarked the vessel in off the island of Tenerife.
Spanish health officials described the situation as “unprecedented” on Sunday morning (10 May) as it confirmed all passengers remain asymptomatic.
Footage showed passengers riding in a small boat in protective gear before reaching the port where sealed-off buses took passengers to the island's main airport.
It’s thought Spanish nationals were the first to disembark, while other nationalities followed in groups.
The ship’s arrival has been met with protest on the island, as residents fear possible exposure to the virus.
