Home surveillance footage captured the moment the woman went to investigate what was happening on her doorstep after her dog started barking.
She can be seen opening her front door, before screaming in horror when she is greeted by the bear outside her house in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The woman then quickly runs back inside her house to safety. The bear is then seen to walk away.
