Kota Kinabalu: The Momogun National Congress (MNC) presented the Momogun Declaration 2024 to Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin on Tuesday.

Its President Tan Sri Wences Angang said the declaration had been signed and agreed upon by 76 Dusunik, Paitanik and Murutik ethnic group associations from all over the State.

“We presented the declaration to the Head of State so that he can help us have the term officially accepted because, in the Government official forms, we always see Malay, Chinese, Indian and Others written in the columns.

“We invited all the registered associations to attend the Momogun Premier Convention on Aug 1 and 84 ethnic associations representing the Indigenous People were present.
