KENINGAU: Vocational College special needs student Mohd Zahrul Hanif Hanapiah emerged second in the animation story category at the Monaco Art Festival which took place online on Saturday.
The animated story titled “Sumanga” is a person who is the guardian spirit of a boat that is able to bring luck and provide protection to fishermen and sailors according to the mythic beliefs of the ancient community. It tells how the greed and ignorance of the community caused Sumanga to abandon the fishing settlement under his care.
