SANDAKAN: A senator has advised parents to always monitor the use of social media by their under aged children.

Senator Anna Bell @ Suzieana Perian stressed the importance of the matter in view of the potential negative impact of social media on minors.

AdvertisementShe said although the government has decided to ban social media for children aged 13 and below, parents must never be complacent.

She said this during the Preschool Excellence Award Day (HAKPRA) Session 2024-2025 of SK Sungai Kayu here, Monday.
