Mono Burgos insists there's no rift with Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone.
Simeone's former No2 was critical of his friends tactics for last week's Spanish Super Cup semifinal defeat to Real Madrid.
But after last night's Copa del Rey win, Mono said on Radio Marca: "Are you ready to go viral?
"I am very happy for Atltico de Madrid's victory against Madrid."
Mono's comments last week spread like wildfire across social media.
"It was something tactical. What I explained the other day are only tactical issues... I am a head coach and I believe in other things and other movements."
After the criticism received for expressing an opinion, the former goalkeeper clarified that "it suits everyone that we are fighting (him and Cholo). But it doesn't happen there guys.
"El Cholo was one of the first to call me when I had cancer."
