Monza GM Adriano Galliani has lifted the lid on his two biggest transfer regrets.
Galliani discussed his work at AC Milan in Sportweek today.
He said, "I have at least two regrets: (Alessandro) Del Piero and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Padova offered us Del Piero as child for 5 billion and we said no.
"And I'm sorry we lost the race to get Cristiano Ronaldo in the sprint when he switched from Sporting to United. We were at the front but the British bid too high."
