Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says Simone Inzaghi has proved himself a worthy coach of the Nerazzurri.
Moratti concedes he would've likely sacked Inzaghi earlier this season if he had been in charge.
Ahead of tonight's Champions League semifinal against AC Milan, Moratti said: "Perhaps (I would have sacked him), but I appreciated the way he managed to stay afloat without drowning.
"He remained lucid, despite the many critics, and I am among them too.
" He has shown that he is good, with the right character to be in a place like Inter."
