Kota Kinabalu: More aid has poured in for Pitas flood victims in 20 villages this time in the form of 920 packs of 10kg rice and essential clothing.

The relief effort was a collaborative project involving various organisations, with major contributions from Sabah Credit Corporation and Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu (500 packs), Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja (100 packs), Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl (100 packs), Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Mandarin (50 packs) and KotaBox Packaging Sdn Bhd (170 packs).

Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl President Chendramata Sinteh noted how the community’s united response demonstrated the power of collective action in crisis situations, while highlighting the impact of seeing grateful villagers, particularly women, working to rebuild their lives with this support.
