Kota Kinabalu: More school leavers are showing interest in furthering their studies in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Stem) fields, as opposed to traditional choices such as business or hospitality.
Malaysian British Educational Cooperation Services (MABECS) Sabah Senior Education Advisor Vincent Kwang said this is due to changing industry demands and Industry 4.0.
“From back then, we always hear about (students opting for) Accounting, Business Management or Hotel Management.
