- Princess Cruises has intensified cleaning efforts across the vessel and isolated sick individuals to curb further transmission, with a comprehensive disinfection planned upon arrival.
- Separately, 17 American passengers from a cruise ship linked to a hantavirus outbreak are being quarantined in Nebraska after returning from Tenerife, Spain, for daily monitoring.
