More than 2,000 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in a shipment of cabbage have been seized by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) McAllen office in Texas.
Video shared by DEA Houston office on Thursday, 10 September, showed the agents tearing open the cabbages to uncover the drugs in the Rio Grande Valley.
“This major seizure is part of a Homeland Security Taskforce investigation, conducted jointly with HSI, the FBI, CBP, USBP, and TXDPS”, the DEA said in the social media post.
