
A TOTAL of 59.03 per cent or 443,461 out of a total of 507,536 registered voters have fulfilled their responsibilities in the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election (PRN), as of 3 pm.
The Election Commission (EC) said this represented 59.03 per cent of the total registered voters in the state.
The Kota State Legislative Assembly (DUN) recorded the highest voter turnout of 65.5 per cent, followed by Seri Menanti (64.6 per cent) and Chennah (64.5 per cent).
The Lobak DUN recorded the lowest voter turnout of 51.3 per cent, followed by Mambau (52.8 per cent) and Lukut (52.9 per cent).
For comparison, in the 2023 election, the voter turnout as of 3 pm was 56.05 percent with 469,788 out of a total of 838,200 voters having voted. – August 1, 2026
