The upcoming sequel to the 2021 reboot of the Mortal Kombat film series is on its way. Mortal Kombat II’s complete cast is now official, and it is all set to release later this year, continuing the story that its prequel left off halfway.
The first Mortal Kombat movie focused on Cole Young, a martial artist who is being hunted by Sub-Zero. Its sequel has moved on from that character and is set to feature big names like Johnny Cage, Kitana, Sonya Blade, and more as the driving force of its plot.
