Mother claims son beaten up in Taiping Prison, worried about safety following elderly inmate’s death last month

The mother of a Taiping Prison inmate is concerned over the safety of her son, who she claims was beaten up by prison staff at the facility on Jan 17. She said her son received stitches on his head after he was beaten with a cota while being blindfolded and handcuffed.
