A SINGLE mother lodged a police report in yesterday, claiming she suspected her 15-year-old daughter was offering sexual services via Telegram
According to sources, the 43-year-old mother, who works as a cleaner, lodged the police report at the Pasir Puteh Police Station, Kelantan.
Sources said the woman claimed that one of her children - the eldest daughter - informed her of the matter while she was at her home in Jerteh, Terengganu, on September 15.
"According to the woman, her eldest daughter told her that her other daughter, who is 15 years old, had been offering sexual services.
"She said the sixth of seven siblings offered the service via Telegram for free for the first time and from the second onwards, a fee would be charged.
"The mother believed her daughter, a secondary school student, had been involved in sexual relations with several men.
"She lodged the report to enable the police to take further action," the source told NST.
It is understood that the girl and her other siblings lived with their father in Pasir Puteh after their parents divorced 10 years ago.
Kelantan Police Chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat confirmed the case, saying police were still investigating. - September 22, 2025
