A motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a road accident involving a car along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens near the Syariah Court at around 11.30 am on Tuesday.
City police chief ACP Kasim Muda said initial investigations revealed that a car, driven by a man in his 30s, was heading from UMS towards SK Likas when a motorcyclist in his 20s suddenly lost control and crashed into the car’s right rear side.
“The motorcyclist suffered fatal head injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel. The car driver was unharmed.
