SANDAKAN: A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving a Toyota Hilux at Jalan Sabait, Batu 10, on Tuesday morning.
District Police Chief ACP George Abd Rakman said the 9.50am incident occurred when the rider lost control of his motorcycle, veered into the opposite lane, and was hit by the oncoming Hilux.
He died at the scene, and his body was sent to Duchess of Kent Hospital for a post-mortem. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
