
Kota Kinabalu: A man was killed and his pillion was seriously hurt when a car hit their motorcycle at the Putatan Bukit Vor U-turn in Putatan on Monday.
Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton identified the deceased as a 25-year-old.
The pillion rider, a 22-year-old woman, fractured her right leg and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Preliminary findings showed that the car made a U-turn from Jalan Kota Kinabalu to Teluk Villa Putatan and crashed into the motorcycle.
