Mason Mount and Chelsea are still well apart in new contract negotiations.
The midfielder has just over a year to run on his current deal, with talks over new terms dragging on for over 12 months.
The Mirror says Chelsea's latest offer is worth 125,000-a-week - which is a healthy jump from his current 80,000-a-week deal.
However, Mount feels he deserves much more and has been demanding 250,000-a-week to re-sign.
Mount was informed by chairman Todd Boehly in a face-to-face meeting in recent days that their first-choice was for him to stay.
