Mason Mount is happy to have suspended new contract talks with Chelsea.
The England midfielder comes off contract in 2024.
The Athletic says Mount has rejected several contract proposals from Chelsea. The rejections took place in the summer and autumn.
The parties have now chosen to put negotiations on hold until the summer.
This summer, Mount will have a single year left on his contract, as such it could lead to a sale if he does not put pen to paper.
