Jose Mourinho was seen with Newcastle United directors in Saudi Arabia this weekend.
Mourinho was snapped with Newcastle chairman Yasir al-Rumayyan at the Saudi Grand Prix.
The former Chelsea manager is a free agent after being sacked by Roma in January.
Mourinho has stated in recent days: "I want to work. I just don't want to make the wrong decision.
"I have to wait for the right one, the one that motivates me. But if I could work tomorrow, I would work tomorrow."
