Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros (2026) is the ultimate cinematic glow-up we didn't know we needed. Directed by Savin SA in his absolute main character debut and penned by the legend Vipin Das, this sequel to the 2024 banger Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys is highkey a masterpiece. The main squad—Hashir H., Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V—is back, joined by icons like Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, and Alphonse Puthren. It is honestly a vibe. It’s giving pure talent, no cap.
This movie is a whole emotional rollercoaster that lives in your head rent-free. The performances from the main boys and Bijukuttan are literally top-tier; they ate and left no crumbs. Savin SA’s vision is so valid, balancing those "LMAO" moments with scenes that’ll have you sobbing in the final act. The friendship vibes are so raw and relatable, it feels like you’re hanging with your own besties.
The cast is stacked, fr. Vinayak, Hashir, and Alan are serving excellence, while veterans like Sudeesh and Vijay Babu are total scene-stealers. Those cameos from Alphonse Puthran and Al Ameen? Pure gold and a total laugh riot. The chemistry is just so realistic, it’s scary.
The soundtrack is a literal vibe shift. Those song montages are perfectly synced with the film’s energy, and the editing is sharp, making every emotion hit different. The A Team cooked with the background score, and we got ten tracks from a whole collective of geniuses like Malayali Monkeys and Rajat Prakash. "Vanilla Chediye" was the first bop to drop in February, followed by "Kochu Keralam" in March. Think Music really secured the bag with these audio rights.
The second half is where the feels really kick in. It gets deep, leading to a climax that is honestly so satisfying. There’s even some subtle romance woven in that just adds to the overall aesthetic without being too much.
Everything about this film is a 10/10. The script is tight, the pacing is on point, and the dialogue is so impactful it hits you right in the feels. Even though it’s a three-hour marathon, it never feels like a drag. Low-key, I might still vibe with the first part a bit more because the emotional payoff was slightly more "it" for me, but this sequel is still a massive win.
If you missed it in theatres, don’t worry Jio-Hotstar secured the streaming rights, so you can binge it from May 8, 2026.
Vaazha 2 isn't just a flick; it’s a core memory. It captures that specific brand of laughter that masks the struggle and the loud silence between real ones. If you’ve ever felt like a "Vaazha" or just totally useless to the world, this movie is the hug you need. It perfectly portrays how is adulting a total trap—a thought that’s been spiralling in my mind since the credits rolled.
By the end, you’re left with all the nostalgia and warmth, reflecting on your own life choices and squad goals. It’s not just a sequel; it’s the perfect evolution. With an 8.3 rating on IMDb from 3.5K users, the streets are saying it’s a must-watch. Go get your snacks ready, because this one is truly for the books and your soul.
