Packing for a move can bring back memories, from old photos to forgotten mugs.
Whether you’re moving into your own home or a bigger business space, it’s exciting but packing, arranging transport and moving that massive sofa can feel overwhelming.
That’s where the Moving Memories with Lalamove campaign comes in.
Three selected winning stories will receive a fully sponsored Lalamove moving service, helping them carry what matters into their next chapter.
Every move has a story. What’s yours?
Maybe you’re leaving your family home for the first time and bringing along the desk that saw you through late-night study sessions.
Perhaps your home business has finally outgrown the spare room, and you’re ready to move into a space of your own. That first oven or rack of products? It’s coming with you, of course.
Or you might know a family member, friend or NGO that could use some help moving.
Whatever the reason, Lalamove wants to hear about the move and the memories behind it. You can nominate yourself or someone in need, whether it’s for a house move, office relocation, student move or support for a business or NGO.
Think about what this move means to you. What are you leaving behind, what are you bringing along, and what are you looking forward to?
Your story could earn you a fully sponsored move
Through the campaign, Lalamove will select three winning stories to receive a fully sponsored moving service.
Entries will be reviewed based on story impact, feasibility and eligibility. So, take a little time to share your own original story and explain why this move matters.
If selected, Lalamove will contact you to arrange the sponsored service. The move must be scheduled and completed before 6 December 2026.
That could mean one less thing to worry about as you prepare for a fresh start.
From student essentials to the furniture you can’t leave behind
Of course, every move looks different.
A student heading to a new rental might have a few boxes and a desk. A family could have furniture and appliances to transport, while a business might need to move stock and office equipment.
Lalamove’s fleet includes 4×4 Pickups, Vans and 10ft, 14ft and 17ft Lorries, giving you options for different loads.
You can schedule and manage your delivery through the app, with transparent pricing to help you plan.
Choose a suitable vehicle for what you need to transport, then get back to the rest of your moving checklist.
