LABUAN: Bersatu Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman said the budget 2023 tabled by the Minister of Finance was, generally, good one though some of the items mentioned were also in the previous budget under a different terminology.
He stressed that the budget needed to be supported with good planning or the set targets may not be achieved. Attention should be given to get rid of cumbersome procedures including “little Napoleons” in the implementing agencies.
Speaking at the Dewan Rakyat sitting Suhaili said what pleased him was the amounts allocated to Class G1-G4 class contractors had been significantly increased.
