MP pledges to care for three ‘bereaved’ siblings

KENINGAU: Pensiangan Member of Parliament Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup has pledged to look into the education needs of the three siblings whose mother was burnt alive allegedly by her husband in a domestic quarrel in Kg Tinagalan, Sook, recently.

Arthur, who is also Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, said he made a commitment to take the three siblings under his care, especially their education.

“I will take these three siblings as my foster students. My commitment is to ensure that they are well taken care of,” he said.
