Nuno says Wolves are out to make their fans proud in Slovakia on Thursday.
The Premier League outfit will face Slovan Bratislava in the hope of claiming their second Europa League group stage win.
Only 2000 supporters will be in the away end due to a UEFA restriction, but Nuno hopes the performance can justify their travel.
Nuno said: "It's not quite understandable.
"If they allowed young children, why not allow our fans who wish to be here and support the team?
"It's a decision we have to understand, but it's a big disappointment.
"Hopefully, we can compete well and have a good performance for those that are here and those that are back home."
