Released Leicester City defender Danny Simpson is training with West Brom.
So far the Premier League winner has been unable to find himself a new home either in England or abroad.
Simpson has been keeping fit with the Under-23s at the Hawthorns after Slaven Bilic gave him permission to link up with the club, says The Sun.
But Baggies boss Bilic could also look at him himself as he looks to ensure he has a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge this season.
Though the transfer window has now closed, it does not stop anyone being able to register Simpson to their squad.
