SIPITANG: The residents of Kampung Lumampau are facing difficulties due to the severely damaged road, causing exhaustion each time they travel.
A resident, Billy Payus, said the road serves as the main route for villagers to Meligan, but it is now in an extremely poor condition and difficult to pass through.
Advertisement“Normally, the journey to Meligan takes only 45 minutes, but now it takes over an hour due to the muddy and slippery road.
“As of now, there are about 11 houses with 25 residents living in Kampung Lumampau. They also struggle to transport their agricultural produce, whether to Sipitang or other areas, as the road condition makes it nearly impossible for vehicles to pass through smoothly.
