PETALING JAYA: The Kuala Lumpur sessions court has allowed former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin the temporary release of his passport to attend his granddaughter’s graduation ceremony in the UK.

According to Utusan Malaysia, deputy public prosecutor Zander Lim did not object to Muhyiddin’s application.

Muhyiddin’s lawyer K Kumaraendran said the Pagoh MP and his wife would fly to London on July 19 and return to Malaysia on Aug 16.

This is the Perikatan Nasional chairman’s fourth successful application for permission to travel abroad since he was charged in March last year.
