THE last message from the 21-year-old TAR UMT student who died after falling from the highest point of a condominium in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur was to his aunt, saying 'Mum, I'm sorry. I love you'.

According to reports in China Press, the student and his younger brother lived with their grandparents following their parents' divorce.

Their uncle and aunty loved them and cared for them very much.

The deceased shared the best relationship with his aunt whom he referred to as mummy.

The duo would call each other regularly, but on the night of the tragic incident, the deceased called her at 8.05pm.

The aunt said there was nothing unusual about the conversation but after that, the deceased sent her a message saying 'Mum, I love you'.

"After that I was very worried and called him back but could not get through.

"He then responded with a message at 8.45pm saying 'Mum, I'm sorry, I love you'. I had a bad feeling and immediately called my relatives and friends to check on him.
