
KOTA KINABALU: The suspect in the murder of a woman whose body parts were found at a rubbish communal bin in Taman Indah Permai, Sepanggar, will be charged in court tomorrow (Friday).
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said the suspect’s remand period had ended and he would be charged within the week.
In the Feb 12 incident, a 44-year-old woman was killed and her body dismembered before being discarded at the site.
A 71-year-old man, believed to be the victim’s fiancé, was arrested on the same day.
Three other individuals, comprising the main suspect’s son and two women, were also detained to assist investigations, while two body parts, the left leg and right hand, have yet to be found.
