Tenom: The Sabah Murut Timugon Ethnic Association (PEMTS) received its registration certificate from the Registrar of Societies (ROS) last month.
PEMTS President Junik Bajit said PEMTS aimed to preserve and uplift the traditional art, culture and heritage of the Murut Timugon which risks of going extinct, besides focusing on the educational and economic aspects of the community.
“These three make up the main mission and vision of PEMTS,” he said.
