BRITISH alternative rock band Muse’s concert in Kuala Lumpur will go on as planned tomorrow (Saturday), Rojak Daily reported, recently.
However, concert promoter Hello Universe has disclosed that Muse are altering their set list for the show to fit the country’s guidelines better.

Read more One of the founders of Hello Universe, Adam Ashraf, was reported as saying that Muse’s management team reached out to them after the 1975 incident to ensure their set complies with Malaysia’s guidelines.
“They called us shortly after the incident went global. After discussions, they decided to pull one song out of the set list due to the song’s title.
“It is nice to know they are eager to entertain while respecting the guidelines,” he said.
Muse’s Saturday concert in Kuala Lumpur will be their only Asia stop during their ongoing ‘Will of The People’ tour.
Last weekend, Malaysians were rocked by the actions of Matty Healy of the British rock band The 1975.
While headlining day one of the Good Vibes Festival (GVF), Healy criticised the Malaysian government for anti-LGBT laws.
Healy – who was drinking onstage – also smashed a festival-owned drone and kissed bassist Ross MacDonald onstage before announcing just seven songs into their set that they had been banned from Malaysia and had to leave.
The aftermath of the incident was brutal. The organiser was demonised, and the issue was used for political gain.
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil also ordered the festival to be immediately cancelled.
