We all know and are well aware that there are so many scams out there and we usually tell ourselves we won't fall prey to any but alas, no matter how vigilant we try to be and as careful as we are, some of us do fall victims to these scammers. This is how a once close friend of mine became a victim.
I received a call from my friend one day and he sounded frantic and nervous and telling me that someone he just got to know online was asking him for money. When I asked him what happened, this is what he told me. He befriended this girl online and they started chatting right off the bat, the girl started to talk "naughty" and my friend got caught up in the conversation.
She then started to turn on her cam and was seducing him and after a short while, she coaxed him to do the same and he did! I guess some guys just can't help themselves when chatting with a young and seductive girl clad in just her lingerie. So anyway, once my buddy was showing "things" he was not supposed to show, the girl made a screen recording of him and then sent him the video and she threatened to send that video to all his family and friends on his Facebook list. Needless to say, he was shocked and frightened and didn't know what to do.
He got on the phone and called me immediately and I asked him to tell me exactly how it started and what happened. After knowing all those details, I told him to just completely ignore her threats and block her because once she can't get anything from him, she won't bother wasting her time on just one victim and will move on when she has so many more people just waiting for her to scam. He heeded my advice and true enough, that girl moved on and didn't even send the video she had of him to anyone on his Facebook list.
In conclusion, try to avoid being seduced by women you just met online thinking you're gonna get lucky because you ain't! Of course, there are many more scams out there that I have personally encountered but those are so obvious I could see right through them. I'm pretty certain many of you reading this might know someone who got scammed or even worse, got scammed yourself.
