From break-ins to blueprints
Growing up, Francis watched his family go through two burglaries. Most people move on after something like that. Francis didn't. The question stuck with him for years: how do burglars actually get in, and how can ordinary families keep them out? It followed him all the way into his career as an electrical engineer.
Then, around 2012, digital door locks started taking off in Korea. Francis saw something worth bringing home.
