A 15-year-old girl named Yi Xuan has gone missing from her home in Batu Pahat, Johor, leaving her family terrified she may have been abducted. Her sudden disappearance, coupled with a previous unsettling incident involving an unfamiliar man, has only heightened their fears.
According to a missing person alert circulating on social media, Yi Xuan was last seen around 7am on April 28 before she left home. Dressed in a yellow top and blue denim skirt, she has not returned since. Her grandparents discovered her absence after returning from a morning trip to buy her breakfast.
Yi Xuan's mother, Su Xingping, shared with Sin Chew Daily that this was not the first time her daughter had acted out of character. Just days earlier, on April 23, Su was informed that a man known only as "Ah Long" had picked Yi Xuan up from school. Disturbed by the news, she immediately lodged a police report.
Though Yi Xuan came home that day, she refused to explain why she left with the man or what had transpired. “‘Ah Long’ was introduced to us by a friend of Yi Xuan’s grandfather, but we barely know anything about him — not his full name, background, or even what he does for a living,” Su said.
She also noted that communication with Yi Xuan has been difficult, especially since the earlier incident. After she came home, she was quiet and didn't open up about what happened. Now, she’s gone again but without any clues this time.
Efforts to contact both Yi Xuan and “Ah Long” have failed, with both their phones switched off. Another police report has since been lodged, and the family is desperately trying to track down any lead. Su even visited “Ah Long’s” last known address, only to find the place abandoned.
