A tattoo artist who was gifted the First Generation iPhone reportedly put it up for bidding as her Verizon contract wasn't available to iPhones. The bidding was the second yet highest value ever to be recorded by LCG Auctions, as they had previously auctioned off a similar model for USD39,000.
