Chelsea legend Ashley Cole is being linked with a coaching return to the club.
The Daily Mail says Cole is making his way to Japan, and could be heading for a sensational return to Chelsea.
His former club are currently out in Asia as part of a pre-season tour, with Frank Lampard's side taking on Kawasaki Frontale on Friday, before facing Barcelona next Tuesday.
Reports have previously suggested that the new Blues boss was looking to add Cole to his backroom staff, something that could now become a reality.
Lampard signed his former Chelsea team-mate last season when in charge of Derby County.
