Ah, the plight of the oppressed former prime minister, lamenting the tragic decline in the size of his KFC chicken pieces while behind bars.

"The price of a Snack Plate went up from RM12.50 in 2017 to RM20.99 now, while a Dinner Plate from RM15.90 to RM25.99," said Najib in a Facebook post. He said many have also claimed that the sizes of the chicken pieces have grown smaller.

How dare they serve him anything less than the finest poultry cuts while he enjoys the hospitality of our esteemed correctional facilities?

It's heartwarming to see a man of such privilege and prominence bravely tackling the real issues of the day.

Forget about political reform, economic inequality, or social justice – what we really need is cheaper fast food for the incarcerated elite!

Yes, because when I think of the struggles faced by the average Malaysian, the first thing that comes to mind is the exorbitant price of a bucket of fried chicken. I'm sure the families scraping by on minimum wage are shedding tears of solidarity for Najib's KFC conundrum.

But fear not, dear citizens, for our imprisoned crusader is fighting the good fight.

Let's forget about legal battles or accountability for alleged financial misdeeds – Najib's new mission is to ensure that every prisoner gets their fair share of finger-lickin goodness at an affordable price.

Who needs human rights when you can have extra crispy?

Who needs justice when you can have a side of coleslaw?

Thank you, Najib, for shining a light on the true struggles of the incarcerated elite.

Your sacrifice will not be forgotten – especially by those who can't afford to eat at KFC, whether inside or outside of prison walls.

But to be fair to Najib, he was complaining about SST being replaced by GST, which resulted in the increase of prices.

“The prices of KFC have increased since 2018 after the Sales and Service Tax (SST) was replaced by GST (Goods and Services Tax).”

That's all folks on Najib's Chicken Crisis Behind Bars.
