Napoli are said to have put in a surprise offer for Wolves defender Max Kilman.
The central defender is a wanted man this summer, with several clubs vying for his signature.
Per The Mail, the Italian champions have put in a 30 million offer to secure Kilman's signature.
However, Wolves are primed to reject the bid, as they are already raising funds through the sale of Nathan Collins to Brentford.
Julen Lopetegui does not want to significantly weaken his squad by selling Kilman.
While Wolves do need to balance the books this summer, selling Collins and other fringe players may be sufficient.
