Napoli legal chief Mattia Grassani has confirmed Victor Osimhen has a new contract in front of him.
Grassani says he's drawn up the deal for the Nigeria striker.
He told TVPlay: I wrote Osimhen's contract a long time ago. Renewal? There are advanced negotiations."
Grassani also spoke of Luciano Spalletti's departure for the Italy job.
He stated: "The Spalletti controversy involves only the club and the coach. The Federation exercised its right by submitting a contract to a free coach without a contract. We will go to court if Napoli tells me to sue.
"On 18 July, Spalletti signed a conciliation agreement which provided for certain obligations, rights and duties. I also contributed to writing that agreement. With that agreement, the coach renounced the right to coach any club or any national team. He signed it and a month later there was talk of Spalletti in the national team.
"Some say that that clause doesn't apply. If Napoli had not accepted his resignation, he would not be able to coach the national team today."
