Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is coy over claims of an agreement with Antonio Conte.
The former Inter Milan and Juventus coach is now favourite for the job with caretaker Francesco Calzona leaving to take charge of Slovakia.
ADL said today at a function: "It's not that I don't want to say anything, I can't say because the next ten days will be decisive after having made all the appropriate, necessary assessments.
"But the fairness of reasoning must win."
Before Calzona, ADL sacked Rudi Garcia and Walter Mazzarri during the season.
