Kota Kinabalu: Nasrullah Zulkifli and Charlayne Chong Shin Ling emerged champions at the 37th Sabah Amateur Open Golf Championship organised by Sabah Golf Association (SGA), which ended at Shan Shui Golf and Country Resort in Tawau on Sunday.
Nasrullah from Kuala Lumpur carded rounds of 73,71,75 to successfully defend his men’s title at three-over-par 219.
In second place was Brandon Lai Chung Weng with 221 (81-70-70) followed by Rhaasrikanesh Kanav on 224 (78-73-73).
Kota Kinabalu lass Charlayne came home with a 229 (77-75-77) total to win the ladies title by a massive eight strokes.

In second place was Nabilah Alifuddin who ended her rounds with 237 (81-79-77), and in third place was Angelina Hwong Hutchinson on 246 (83-79-84).
