PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the encouraging figures were reported to him at the 2025 National SDG Council Meeting, which he chaired this morning.

“However, despite these positive numbers, there is still much to be addressed, particularly regarding the 10 Key Focus Areas of the nation’s SDGs, from child malnutrition, mental health, management of students with special needs, to employment opportunities for persons with disabilities,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Anwar stressed that strengthening the SDG agenda requires comprehensive cooperation among the Federal Government, state authorities, the private sector, and civil society.

“This effort demands the collaboration of all parties to ensure that no individual is left behind in the nation’s development,” he said.

He added that the MADANI Government remains committed to the SDG agenda, which aligns with the implementation of the 13th Malaysia Plan, aiming for inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous development for the nation’s children and the country’s future. - November 5, 2025
