Kota Kinabalu: Four Sabahan girls have been shortlisted for the national squad in the upcoming Under-20 Asia Rugby Seven Series 2022 to be held in Uzbekistan on Nov 5-6.
Marytheresa Raj Thevaraj, who represented Sabah in Sukma twice in 2018 and 2022, Emylyea Iskandar and Mary Isabelle Sylvester from the 2022 Sukma squad as well as Julianne Myra Robin are among the 21 listed for selection.
They are currently training at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Tanjung Malim, Perak and the selection process involves training matches with the senior team.
